Romain Roucoules

Romain is a French photographer who lives and works in Paris. A graduate of the prestigious art school ECAL (Lausanne), his photography presents images with more than what meets the eye.

Oscillating between academic representations and contemporary means of image production, his compositions poetically celebrate the beauty of nature and modernity.By utilizing new technologies’ endless possibilities, as much as traditional photography techniques, he gives life to a new kind of storytelling, allowing him to shift the perception of our environment as well as tease and question his viewers.

Always shifting between art and commissions, Romain’s work has been exhibited at European and Swiss museums such as C/O Berlin or Geneva photography center, where it has received many accolades and has been published in some of the most prestigious magazines such as CR Fashion Book, Vogue Italia, Dazed Beauty & more.

His clients include Balenciaga, Gucci, Christian Dior, Prada, and Rombaut to name a few.
