Mathilde Agius

Mathilde Agius is a Swiss photographer currently based in Berlin. Her expressive photography is characterised by the playful use of bold colours and bright lighting, yet conveying a surreal intimacy. With a tongue in cheek approach and unusual poses she captures confident femininity with wit and dreamy tactility. Her carefully composed images show great attention to detail, focusing on colours and textures, which together build a narrative of suggestive fictions.

Mathilde has collaborated with many brands. Among them Miu Miu, Mugler, MCM and Nike. She shot series for fashion magazines such as Vogue, The Gentlewoman, Fantastic Man, T Magazine China, Buffalo Zine and Beauty Papers.
